Friday Fun day.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.
Angela here again to show you what I've been up to this week.

Been spending some time in the cabin, just sorting a few things. We've not been anywhere much other than to see my mum.
We don't tend to go too far when it's school holidays as it gets really busy everywhere but I can always find something to do, you know what I mean!

While these too are resting. Lazy dogs!

Obviously Alfie is useful as a pillow.

The weather here has been all over the place, sun, rain, thunder, lightning and wind!

We have had some nice walks in the park.

Can you see the squirrel?

I love this walk, it might be a good starting point for a journal page, we'll see.

A little trip round the garden.

The plants are coming back to life.

We've had this Camillia for some time and it's just starting to flower really well, love them.

Who needs a funny when you've got these two.

They are enough to make anyone smile.

Have a great weekend everyone and
 thanks for stopping by.

And if you would like some more smiles you just need to pop over to see what our other friends have been doing this week at Annie's for
"This Week's Smiles" and you can also share your  smiles too.

WOYWW -723 - What's on ypour Workdesk Wednesday.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

Hi Workdesk friends.
We are here for another Wednesday at the Workdesk and here is:
"What's on my Workdesk this Wednesday".

If you don't know what this is all about then please visit the

Stamping Ground, our host Julia will explain.

So here is my desk for today!

I know I said that I would make one journal page each month so as not to get overwhelmed by the job however, I have managed to fininsh another and working on the next one too! This is a miracle for sure.

If you want to know more the details are here.

These new stamps might have something to do with it. I know I said I wouldn't buy anything new but I have fell in love with Art by Marlene, need I say more!
Loving that stencil too.
You might just be able to see a yellow packet peeping out in the exploding box, these are Kate Crane stamps, gorgeous! You'll get to see those soon.

I even managed to get this book which is a bit like gold dust.
If you like Quirky you will love this. All the images are die cut and ready to attach to your journal pages, cards etc.

So that's me done for today.

Thanks for stopping by and hope you will pop over and join in the visits around the other desks.

I'm off now to see what everyone else is up to.
Have a great woyww
and
happy crafting,

Use it or Lose it.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

I am here today to show you a new journal page. Now this is the second journal page this month! I can't promise I will keep this up but we'll see.

I bought these Arteza brush pens before Christmas and this is the only second time I've got them out so I need to use them right!

I applied the colours around the page and then sprayed the surface with water to make the colours move. I love the way they blends together and leave a lovely feathery edge.

This must be one of the quickest journal pages I've made by using this stamp....

I finished the design with white scribbles and spots of Stickles Glitter glue then added the sentiment from a set by Studio Light.

I have several stamps like this which have hardly been used and they are perfect for journal pages so might try this technique again soon.

And that's your lot.
I would love to hear your comments.

Many thanks for stopping by and happy crafting,

Friday Fun Day.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.
Angela here again to show you what I've been up to this week.

Apart from visiting my mum and doing the food shopping it's been a quiet week but actually we quite like it that way.

Daisy and Alfie are resting here at the ready just in case something exciting does happen. Alfie is using Daisy as a pillow but she doesn't seem to mind.

This is their favourite cushion, I thought it was mine actually!
Alfie woke up for a short time.

But it didn't last very long.

He did move once or twise.

And then used me as a pillow too.

He is such a lazy boy. What a silly position is this!

You hardly need any funnies you just have to watch these two.
Anyway here are a few to finish off....

Typical Schnauzer position! Not either of mine.

Typical Schnauzer hair style.

Happy Easter from Daisy and Alfie and wishing you all a great Easter weekend and thanks for stopping by.

And if you would like some more smiles you just need to pop over to see what our other friends have been doing this week at Annie's for
"This Week's Smiles" and you can also share your  smiles too.

WOYWW - 722 - What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

Hi Workdesk friends.
We are here for another Wednesday at the Workdesk and here is:"What's on my Workdesk this Wednesday".

If you don't know what this is all about then please visit the

Stamping Ground, our host Julia will explain.

So here is my desk for today!

Sorry if it doesn't look very intertesting today but I have just started a new journal page.
The pens are Arteza brush pens.

The Pink tub is empty at the moment but I've kept it as it looks useful for something (I know I should have binned it!)
The small packet of envelopes are covering the ATCs that I've started. I'm going to try and make extras so if you want to swap just leave me a message and I'll make sure you get one.

This is the start of the new journal page but that's as far as I've got right now but if you missed it my March page can be found here with the instructions of how I made it. It's the post below this one if you're intertested and this is how it looked finished.

I'm not getting a lot of pages completed but so far managed one a month which is an improvement on what I was doing before.
So that's me done for today.

Thanks for stopping by and hope you will pop over and join in the visits around the other desks.

I'm off now to see what everyone else is up to.
Have a great woyww
and
happy crafting,

Masterboard Monday - Use it or Lose it.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

I am here today to show you my newest journal page:

As it's nearly Easter I thought bunnies so sketched one here to get me started.
It's amazing what appears when you put pencil to paper though he's not at all what I had in my head when I started!

So where next? back to the unused Washi tape to add some detail.

And from there I added several colours of Oxide inks with a blending tool and outlined the rabbit again.

Next covered the background with white paint, left it to dry and then stamped over the painted area and added some shading.
Then for the fun as I used a Tim Holtz die set which had been sitting unused for far too long.

I die-cut several of the Bunnies and then cut them in half, applied matching Oxide colours around the edge of each piece and then attached them around the page.

One more sentiment and a few highlights and we're done.
I would love to hear your comments.

Many thanks for stopping by and happy crafting,

Angela x
