Friday Fun Day.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.
Angela here again to show you what I've been up to this week.

The sun is bringing out the flowers of this lovely cacti.

Oh! and you can see my little snail there too.

He's so sweet.

I do have another one of these and this one is a lizard.

We have actually been out this week as the weather has been quite nice (at the beginning of the week) so decided to take the dogs to the Seaside for their walk.

It looks cloudy here but it was much brighter later.

Walking along the coast

with Daisy and Alfie.

This was the first visit to the seaside for Alfie.

Looks like we chose a good day to visit, it was so quiet.

You might just be able to see all the windmills out at sea.

Every coast line should have these where possible.

As we walked back to the car we passed the fairground.

I know if Elizabeth is around she will love this.

Later in the week the weather was not so good so Alfie and I went into the cabin. I did some crafting and he chewed on a paper cup that he found!

If that doesn't make you smile, here's a few funnies to finish.

My two would have run away by now!

I would love one of these.

I like this but not sure Alfie would.
These two actually look a lot like my old dogs Maisie and Stan.

So I think that is it for now.
Have a great weekend everyone and
 thanks for stopping by.

And if you would like some more smiles you just need to pop over to see what our other friends have been doing this week at Annie's for
"This Week's Smiles" and you can also share your  smiles too.

WOYWW - 725 - What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

Hi Workdesk friends.
We are here for another Wednesday at the Workdesk and here is:
"What's on my Workdesk this Wednesday".

If you don't know what this is all about then please visit the

Stamping Ground, our host Julia will explain.

So here is my desk for today!

I'm busy here working on  my ATCs. You can get a sort of look at them but they are only half way to completion.

And the exploding box is just about surviving though there's not any space to spare and definitely unlikely to take much more.
This kind of thing happens when I have too many projects on the go at the same time.

Thought you might like to see this if you've not seen it already and details as usual can be found on my blog if you're interested. That's my new journal page.

So that's me done for today.

Thanks for stopping by and hope you will pop over and join in the visits around the other desks.

I'm off now to see what everyone else is up to.
Have a great woyww
and
happy crafting,

Monday Fun - Use it or Lose it.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

I am here today to show you a new Art journal page:

I have had so much fun with this one.

I started by embossing with this gorgeous stencil using white texture paste.

And then adding colour with Distress Oxide inks using a blending tool.

These small light bulbs have been waiting to be used again for far too long and are some very old Creative Expression stamps. I added these and some sentiments too.

This however is a new die but I just had to try it out and it works so well with the stamps.
I have cut it out twise with a black card and a rusty metalic card, layered them together adding Stickles Glitter glue to the filament.

But obviously that is not enough!

So I added some embossing with a text stencil.

That's more guilt for having this gorgeous stencil hardly used.

Luckily this is still workable which is good as it is several years old which proves it's worth buying quality products.

And so to the finished journal page.

This is unusual for me as I am not a lover of yellow but I love the way this looks.

I've added a sentiment made on my Dymo Letratag, a very useful little machine.

I would love to hear your comments.

Many thanks for stopping by and happy crafting,

Friday Fun day.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.
Angela here again to show you what I've been up to this week.

The weather has been nice most days and the fruit trees are blossoming so fingers crossed we don't get any frosts.

Alfie decided to go mountain climbing.

That was when he wasn't wrestling with Daisy.

They enjoy this but my poor Bluebells are suffering.

I think he may have tired himself out at this stage.

We called in at our local pub on the way home from seeing mum on Monday (she's doing fine at the moment) and this was a nice change to let someone else cook dinner.

Not quite like my two but I thought they made me smile.

Oh and this looks like Alfie and Daisy on Wednesday.
I left them outside on their own while I went in to get the washing and when I went back they had decide to dig a hole in the lawn and they were covered in mud so the best thing to do was get out their bath but I didn't photo them at the time as I was slightly occupied, I'm sure you will understand!

Have a great weekend everyone and
 thanks for stopping by.

So here is my desk for today!

I thought I would have a tidy desk today but before I knew it!

this happened!
Sudenly I have lots of projects started and the desk is manick!

New stuff and several projects on the go.
The journal on my desk is waiting for more detail to be added and the lightbulb stencils are new. There are ATCs hidden under the stamps on the left, I'll let you see more of those soon.

The red net held oranges but I'm sure it will be useful for something.
Finally you might like this journal page that I posted Monday.

So that's me done for today.

Thanks for stopping by and hope you will pop over and join in the visits around the other desks.

I'm off now to see what everyone else is up to.

Use it or Lose it.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

I am here today to show you a new journal page:

I enjoyed this technique so much last week that I just had to play with it again.
First Arteza brush pens to apply the colour then spray them with water and let the colours run. Dry with a heat gun or dry naturally.

I splattered the surface with white paint lightly.

It's probably clearer in real life.

I like the white splatter but felt it needed more so added some white stenciling too.

I used a small part of this gorgeous stencil and can't wait to play with it again.

From there..........

I used this stamp which is another of those things that have been sitting around for far too long unused.

The border stamp is by Seth Apter and everything else is by Studio Light.

I stamped the Seahorse on the coloured background and also on a piece of water colour card then used the Arteza brush pens to colour the Seahorse on the white card.
Next I fussy cut the Seahorse when dry and added  black ink to the edge and heat embossed it.

I added the sentiment and used a white pen to add some highlights.

I felt that I needed more detail along the bottom and used this Studio Light die to
cut the seaweed and applied it to the page finishing it with some Stickles Glitter Glue.

And that's about it really.

I would love to hear your comments.

Many thanks for stopping by and happy crafting,

Angela x
