WOYWW -789 - What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

Hi Workdesk friends.
We are here for another Wednesday at the Workdesk and here is:
"What's on my Workdesk this Wednesday".

If you don't know what this is all about then please visit
Sarah's Craft Shed and our host Sarah will explain. everyone is welcome to join in and we'd love to see what you're up to.

So here is my desk for today!

I've been working on a new masterboard and this is actually a photo from the weekend as I've not done much since.

This is another Masterboard using the Retiform technique.

A  collection of Distress Oxide Inks for this.

If you want to know more about this you can find the details in the post below this one here: and the finished card:

Hope that makes you smile if you've not seen it already.

I did go to Crafting Live at Doncaster on Saturday but you will have to wait till next week to see some of the goodies I brought home. It was a great day.

So that's me done for today.

Thanks for stopping by and hope you will pop over and join in the visits around the other desks.

I'm off now to see what everyone else is up to.
Have a great woyww

and
happy crafting,

Angela x

Cheers and thanks for the links to you MB lists. I really do plan to make some time to give it a go. But this summer! it is shaping up to be the worst ever for drags on my time. But I am determined. Maybe this weekend...wish me luck. I love this technique so I really must have a bash!
Yay! On the day…

I love the soft tones you’ve used on that masterboard, so pretty and they make the perfect background for all sort of cards including that happy crab!! I’m glad you had fun at the Doncaster show, I’m hoping to get to a yarn sale on Saturday, there’s a lot of 100g balls for £1, I shall have to take my pennies lol!

I've not seen that technique before for making a background but I might have a go at that soon. I need to use more of my stencils!! The finished card looks amazing. Have a splendid week, Lisa-Jane #11

That definitely makes me smile! It also makes me think of the second film (I think) in the Fantastic Creatures series. Where Newt copies the shape and wiggle of these tiny creatures, looking exactly like your crab. You have no idea what I am talking about if you have seen the film 🤣. As for Powertex, I did my first craft with my niece who FaceTimed me throughout. I made a seahorse. Unfortunately I proved unable to manipulate the clay, so my husband did that for me. It put me off a bit, but I made my box and book covers with my niece, so happy to make something else. A great masterboard too. Happy WOYWW. Angela #12

That Masterboard looks lovely and It is rather special as you used the grid technique within it. I love doing retiform but have finally succumbed to buying some masking fluid for a particular piece of work I have in mind. Might take months to make as I have had it in mind for ages.
That card is gorgeous, love the crab.
Have a great time this coming week

Super delicate masterboard and jolly card. As for old books I know what you mean about them and the actual chopping up, which I why I jumped straight into the dictionary for my word for yesterday's journal page. Hugs BJ#13
