Friday Fun Day with Smiles.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.
Angela here again to show you what I've been up to this week.

This lovely card was a nice surprise.

We found this lady's wallet in the road and managed to find who it belonged to as her driving licence was in there, not sure I would be so lucky. As you can see she was very happy to see it again.

We went to see my mum on Sunday. I thought the Care Home would be really busy but was actually very quiet despite it being Mother's Day.

I showed you a photograph of the sitting room a couple of weeks ago and I know some of you thought it looked very quiet and empty so I'm showing you a different view.

I couldn't show you this part of the sitting room last time as there were lots of people sitting in there. Obviously I can't photograph areas where the residents are sitting as many people don't like their relatives being photographed. We've just been joining in with tea time. The plate had some cake on it a couple of minutes earlier!

This is a fun photograph and not what you might expect to see on my desk but had to replace some stud fasteners on one of the dog coats.

Thursday we took the dogs to the  kennels. As hubby is about to start his Moderation preparation again and will be away for a few days so it seemed like a good chance to get the dogs used to staying at the kennels and I'm going to have a lovely crafty weekend.
I'm off to the Craft Club tomorrow and Sunday will be a peaceful and creative day (hopefully!) so far so good, no unexpected phone calls so fingers crossed.

I might be a bit late getting round today as it's hairdressers day again. It seems to come round very quickly!

Of course I wont leave you without a few funnies.

Good morning everyone.
This could be Alfie as he likes to carry brushes around especially when you are trying to use them.

Felted Schnauzer. Might just have to make one of these, it's so cute.

Oh Dear!

That's well cute!

And so is this!

Have a great weekend everyone and
 thanks for stopping by.

And if you would like some more smiles you just need to pop over to see what our other friends have been doing this week at Annie's for "This Week's Smiles" and you can also share your  smiles too.

It was good that you shared a tera-time treat with mum. I hope she is making some new friends among the residents.
I had to dig out an old tool the other day I haven't used in a while, to make more holes in Chris' belt. My cropodile is 15 years old, but it is still as sharp as ever.
Enjoy your crafty weekend. Kate x

Love the schnautzer jokes Angela! My dog used to love going to the kennels, she went one day a week when I had to work late. Lots of doggy friends to play with! Hugs, Valerie

It's been a busy day for me so I'm very late calling by. I hope the fur babies have fun at the kennels.

That home for your mum looks really lovely, and I'm all for any place that serves sweets! :D By now you've had your crafty weekend and must be (hopefully) filled with new inspiration! Happy week, Angela!

Having had my bag stolen a while ago I can imagine the lady's relief when you found her purse and returned it. A very good deed indeed xxx
