Friday Fun Day with Smiles.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

Angela here again to show you what I've been up to this week.

This is Terry, he's just come out of the greenhouse where he was sheltering, waiting for a new coat of oil that was the weekend.

I have had him for a very long time and I think he's beautiful but what do you think?

This is Daisy in her favourite position though they are both in the kennels at the moment as we are on our way back from Matlock but you'll hear more about that soon.

For now this was Wednesday.....

These are old steam trains that have been rescued and are being cared for by groups of volunteers.

This was a brilliant day and I'll tell you more about it next week.

So for now I must go but I'll be back soon.
Pleased excuse me if I'm late getting round, I will be visiting you just a bit later than usual as we will be travelling.

This will be me as soon as the pups get back.

Have a great weekend everyone and
 thanks for stopping by.

And if you would like some more smiles you just need to pop over to see what our other friends have been doing this week at Annie's for
"This Week's Smiles" and you can also share your  smiles too.

woyww - 795 - What's on Your Workdesk Wednesday.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

Hi Workdesk friends.
We are here for another Wednesday at the Workdesk and here is:
"What's on my Workdesk this Wednesday".

If you don't know what this is all about then please visit
Sarah's Craft Shed and our host Sarah will explain.

So here is my desk for today!

It's not often you see such a tidy desk so make the most of it Lol!
The exploding box is tidy and there is actually room to work! but it's very quiet today as I've been working in the cabin on a resin project.

This is all I can show you right now but I'll make sure you get to see the completed project soon.

This is the hill section and the base, I've arranged some decorative pieces which will be covered in the resin effect water but you'll just have to wait and see how it turns out.

So that's me done for today.

Thanks for stopping by and hope you will pop over and join in the visits around the other desks.

I'm off now to see what everyone else is up to.
Have a great woyww

and
happy crafting,

Masterboard Monday.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

I am here today to show you a card made with this Masterboard:

Yes you've seen them before and I'm using these in as many different ways as I can come up with and today.......

One strip of the Masterboard and gorgeous images by Lavinia stamps.

I coloured the Seahorse using Tim Holtz watercolour pencils and the sentiment is by Crafters Companion.

I added a heart to the seahorse's tail and applied red glitter.
I've also added Glitter glue along the body of the Seahorse though it's not easy to see. and that's it really.

I would love to hear your comments.

Many thanks for stopping by and happy crafting,

Friday Fun Day

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

Angela here again to show you what I've been up to this week.

Been to see my friend this week for some crafting fun.

She has such a pretty garden.

And so to some crafting fun.

Bubbly washing up liquid, love it.

And some acetate......

coloured with alcohol inks.

Now I need to decide what to use this for.

In the garden this week......

I've let one of the lettuce plants grow and this is what it looks like now!
I just keep taking off what I need but it's massive.
The one on the right with the yellow flowers is Rocket and behind them are Beetroot.

We had a bit of a surprise at the garden centre this week as they are already setting up for Christmas!
I bet Elizabeth will like this......

Had to show you this lovely little collection of flowers too.

I wonder if you can guess where we saw them?
Go on I'll tell you.....
they were on the footpath next to the main road on our way to the park, I'm amazed they haven't been trod on and squashed.

Just a few meaningful words to finish from man's/women's best friend.

And very clean and tidy Lol!

They are also very crafty.

Have a great weekend everyone and
 thanks for stopping by.

And if you would like some more smiles you just need to pop over to see what our other friends have been doing this week at Annie's for
"This Week's Smiles" and you can also share your  smiles too.

I may be late getting round to you all next week as we will be travelling.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

Hi Workdesk friends.
We are here for another Wednesday at the Workdesk and here is:

Here is my desk for today.
Which might not be what you expected!

I just got fed up of the exploding boxes and decided it was time for a tidy up.

It's difficult to tell what is here Lol!, stamps, dies and stencils mostly.

Oh! and this which I have to admit to having bought ages ago amd still not used any of it.
I should be ashamed I here you say!

Hopefully when you pop in next week we should be tidy again.

So that's me done for today.

Thanks for stopping by and hope you will pop over and join in the visits around the other desks.

I'm off now to see what everyone else is up to.
Have a great woyww

Masterboard Monday.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

I am here today to show you a card made with these Masterboards:

Many of you will recognise these.
The original one was stencilled and can be found here: and here: with some of my favourite samples which was made by scanning the original and altering the colours on Picasa.

This style of card can be done in a couple of ways either stamping the design in a similar way to the Retiform technique or as I've done here by cutting the sections from decorative card and applying them to a background piece.
Once the pieces were in place I added strips of ribbon but this could be strips of card too.

This will be an anniversary card so added a heart design for the main image and a sentiment. These were freebies from a magazine and the die for the heart was Spellbinders.

Couldn't resist adding some of Kate Crane's lovely fish.

And some Stickles Glitter glue though it's not so easy to see it here.

A sentiment for the inside by Altenew.

And it's all done and ready to go.

This style of card is often called Fractured or Fragmented if you are looking for other ideas.

I would love to hear your comments.

Many thanks for stopping by and happy crafting,

Friday Fun Day.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

Angela here again to show you what I've been up to this week.
I wasn't sure I had much to put on here today but here goes.

Alfie stealing apples again!
Daisy decided she wanted some too!

A little walk round the garden next.

Pretty flowers.

Gorgeous Hydrangea.

You may wonder why it's in the raised bed but it was a piece that Alfie broke off and I thought I'd give it a chance to survive. I popped it on the edge of the raised bed and here it is.
Gorgeous flower.

The yellow flowers were a gift from my sister-in-law and they fit just right in my mothers Urn that we brought over here when we cleared the house.
It's quite old and came from a big house that was being cleared near the village where my parents lived. My grandfather bought two but sadly let the other one go.

A walk in the park and saw this, no idea what they are.

Back in the house and Alfie is in his favourite place.

It's 'A Dog's Life' or so they say!

This may sound strange as we walk in the park most days but not normally around the church........

It is rather pretty.

With a surprisingly large cemetery.

Think that's enough for today but a few funnies to finish.....

Have a great weekend everyone and
 thanks for stopping by.
