Masterboard Monday Left-Overs.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

I am here today to show you a card made with this Masterboard Left-Overs:

Back to the Left-Overs again. I will use up these pieces one way or another Lol!

I had started these card fronts but never got any further with them. Both of these card blanks were coloured through stencils.
The left one was Grunge paste which was coloured when dry, the other one reminded me of moving water which I decided would be the theme for today.

I decided to play with the 'Press'n Seal' again to hold these tiny tags to keep them in place.

Just arrange them where you want them on the card and then press the 'Press'n Seal' over them.

If you've not seen this product before it's not the same as cling film but not really sticky either.

Now you can turn this over and the tags will stay in place while you add the sticky dots.

Remove the seal from the sticky dots, turn them over and you can replace the tags back to their original position.

Make sure the tags are properly attached to the card and then carefully ease the 'Press'n Seal' off.

I splattered on some white ink for added interest.

And then applied the sentiments and these focal images.
I had stamped and die cut these Jellyfish ages ago and not used them but the stenciled card reminded me of water so it looked like a good time to use them.

I had no idea where this would go when I pulled out those left-overs but I just love it.

Finished with some Stickles Glitter glue on the Jellyfish and it's done.

There are lots of ways to use this product and I'm including some links here to show you other ways I've used it Here: Here: Here: and Here:

Hope you like them.
I would love to hear your comments.

Many thanks for stopping by and happy crafting,

Friday Fun Day with Smiles.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

Angela here again to show you what I've been up to this week.

As promised last week, what are they up to?
They are putting up bird and bat boxes.
It's great to know that so much is being cared for here in the park. I just hope they are careful as these boxes are a long way up the trees which you can probably guess by the length of that ladder.
Maisie was watching but didn't seem terribly interested.

Look whose back again.

Like lots of places we've had some heavy winds recently and we noticed this had blown off the other day. It is not meant to stick out like that!

I have no idea what these workmen are looking at but they were there for at least half an hour. It sure takes a lot of men to look down a hole Lol!

Work is progressing behind us.

This gives a better idea of how far away the new houses will be.

And from the fence this is looking back at our house. That's my cabin on the left.

We finished off the week with a visit to the vet's for Maisie's monthly injection for her arthritis.

They were a bit behind and Maisie got a bit fed up waiting. She's having a good yawn here. Funny thing was that of the other three dogs we saw at the Vet's two of them were Schnauzers so she enjoyed meeting them too.

And Maisie says we need a few smiles after all that.

Dogs can be useful at times.

Silly man, he's just asking for trouble!

Doesn't he realise that dogs understand the word Walk! I even think they can spell it as we've tried saying it only using the letters but they still know what it means.

You wouldn't catch Maisie and Stan going out in the rain without their own coats which actually is more for our convenience as they come back clean rather than wet and muddy!

Hope that gave you a few smiles.

Have a great weekend everyone and
 thanks for stopping by.

And if you would like some more smiles you just need to pop over to see what our other friends have been doing this week at Annie's for
"This Week's Smiles" and you can also share your  smiles too.

WOYWW - 664 - What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

Hi Workdesk friends.
We are here for another Wednesday at the Workdesk and here is:
"What's on my Workdesk this Wednesday".

If you don't know what this is all about then please visit the

Stamping Ground, our host Julia will explain.

So here is my desk for today!

So here's my desk and the workable space is getting smaller and I really need a good sort out.
I keep thinking about things I want to do and the stuff is piling up waiting for me to get the time to do it.

There are loads of stamps here, some I have used recently and some are just to remind me of ideas I've had that I want to do and some are ready for some samples I need to make for the Craft Club. Even the heart die that I used for the Valentines card is there because I have another idea in mind. I don't know what's worse no Mojo or him bringing his mates along too!

Any way! I've been working, when time allowed, on a birthday card.
This is stamped from an AALL and Create stamp set and the coloured paper was a piece that I sprayed.......well years ago actually! I had a mad thing about spray inks at one time and ended up with a whole pile of papers which I am still using.
I have to be honest that the process of playing with a technique is the thing I like most and I often have no idea what I will do with stuff when I've made them though sometimes that's a good thing.

Moving on these are a few new stamps on top and some older ones below.

I know some of you were asking what I had planned for this Glaze and if you'd like to see you can just click on the link here: or just keep going down a bit as it was my post on Monday just below this one.

I'm really looking forward to Saturday as Jo Channon is coming to do a class with us at our Craft Club.
If you watch the Craft Store you might have seen her, She is a lovely lady and has a shop in Coningsby Lincolnshire so it's not too far for her to come and see us.

So that's me all done for today.
Thanks for stopping by and hope you will pop over and join in the visits around the other desks.

I'm off now to see what everyone else is up to.
Have a great woyww
and
happy crafting,

Masterboard Monday Use it or Lose.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

I am here today to show you a card made with this left-over Masterboard:
Well several actually as MaryAnne  reminded me last week that it's time to use up all those old scraps when I saw here making her lovely Tag Book so here goes.

These were the scraps I pulled out.

And these were the ones I decide to use for this project.
You can see that these are left over from other projects but I just find it really difficult to let anything go that might be useful.

I wasn't sure where I was going with this but those small pieces were perfect for this tiny tag die by Tim Holtz. I know that sometimes we need a plan but at other times it's just as good to play for a while and see where it takes you.

I've cut the tags in blue and pink and if you like the look of these you must call back next week to see how I used them but for now we're going with the pink.

All cut out and cord added ready for the next stage.

I've used some Tim Holtz 'Small Talk' sentiment stickers, Stickles Glue and Glitter glaze by Craft Box.

I used the Glaze through a star stencil to add a little shine to an otherwise plain card and outlined the sentiment stickers too.

As we already have stars a few more seemed like a good idea. These are enamel dots by Altenew.

And so to the finished card.

This is probably one of the simplest cards I have ever made but I'm quite pleased with it.
In a funny sort of way the cords seem to give the each of the tags a personality.

The next card that I've made with the blue tags is very different but you will have to wait for that until next week.

I would love to hear your comments.

Many thanks for stopping by and happy crafting,

Friday Fun Day with Smiles.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

Angela here again to show you what I've been up to this week.

Not much to show you but look carefully here, what do you see?

Not the most brilliant photo but knew you'd like to see our friend is still around.

Only just caught this when I was actually having a look to see how the building was progressing. As you can see the sun had been shining again and he/she had been sun bathing. They do like this warm spot.

Crocus this week in the garden.

We met these two in the park but what do you think they were up to. See if you can guess and I'll give you the answer next week.

Most of my spare time has been spent in the cabin as I've been working on some more resin projects.

These are little ring holders. You'll get to see them better when they've cured.

So back to the dog funnies.
Enjoy!

Not the best photograph of our foxy friend but as you can see he/she is still around despite the builders.
If you're not sure that's him/her to the left.

Have a great weekend everyone and
 thanks for stopping by.

And if you would like some more smiles you just need to pop over to see what our other friends have been doing this week at Annie's for

So here is my desk for today!

Not too bad though the exploding box is ready for sorting before an explosion happens.

New die on the left by Karen Burniston, an old die by Tim Holtz and the stencil too sitting on a pile of stuff!

The stuff is a collection of dies, stamps and old bits of paper.

On the right are four new metallic paints for my resin projects.
The sweet little tin was a gift years ago from the hotel where we used to stay in France and now holds a collection of buttons.

I've been using some of these Glazes too by Craft Box, they are lush!
Don't worry you'll get to see the card soon. I'm trying to use up some old masterboard papers.

So that's me done for today.

Thanks for stopping by and hope you will pop over and join in the visits around the other desks.
